MOTIVATIONAL AND INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER FOR CHRISTIAN WOMEN
Vicki is a columnist for the American Daily Herald, Precept Ministries leader, Editor-at-Large for Southern Writers Magazine for two years and presently Contributing Editor, author, poet, popular workshop instructor and speaker for national writing conferences and a Christian Communicators graduate. She also loves sharing her passion for writing and teaching adults, students and young adults how to write fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry so they are better equipped to write down their spiritual journeys in creative nonfiction form to leave for their descendants. Hopefully, these stories will be helpful for descendants who know Jesus Christ, and a beacon of light to point the way to the Saviour for those who don't.
If you're looking for a speaker who weaves God's word into true humorous stories along with the ones that touch your heart and make the eyes rain, Vicki's available to speak at ladies' church retreats, mother-daughter banquets, book club meetings, fundraisers, church services, and prayer breakfasts. Please contact her with topic preference and date of event.
The following are some of Vicki's speaking topics:
Trusting Through Life's Storms
Coyotes to Copperheads
Conquering fear while living in a dangerous world
God's Calling You But He Hasn't Sent the Email
You know God's calling you to do something. And you've heard the gentle whisper. But so far, you can't figure out whether you want to walk on water or stay in the boat because He hasn't sent an email spelling everything out. Or has He?
How to Find Your Voice
Have you ever heard someone say a person is a natural born storyteller? What that means is that the person is gifted with "voice" -- what gives your writing personality, flavor, and style. Some say you're either born with it or you're not. I believe some have the natural gift of "voice" but I also believe a writer can improve this skill with a little hard work and practice. This topic will help those planning on diving into women's ministry because in ministry, you'll need social media and a blog as a way to get the word out so you can grab an audience's attention.
